Yesterday's food tribute ended with a Crayfish party - this typical Swedish late summer tradition with a table set of crayfish, some bread and schnapps. It's hard for any one to keep up with me. Usually it's a dead beat between me and my dad though, who will manage to eat the most. I am absolutely crazy about these red little creatures. I could eat them all year around. But then it wouldn't feel as special of course.
Wish I could say yummm...but I love traditions...especially if it involves food, alcohol and loved ones. What is in the middle picture?

ReplyDeleteIt's a paper sun. We put them up for decorations at Crayfish parties! Would LOVE to have you over at a Crayfish party...But hmm, how do we make vegetarian crayfish? :/
