Greek!

Farmer's Market at the Grove is pretty great - all the different food you can imagine, from all corners of the world under one roof. I usually go for Greek, just like I did tonight. Maybe next time I'll be bold and dare to try something new and less familiar. What's your favorite international kind of food?

I just thought this one was cute :) You Swedes get it! I kind of feel like that now a days with the LA summer bursting in heat. It's already really warm and it will only get worse...

Sleeveless for summer

I found this sleeveless shirt today. Sleeveless shirts are big this season and this particular one I thought was fun with the heart pattern, but the black&white balances it out and doesn't make it too cute. Shopping is so much fun again, now that I'm not so limited anymore!

I walked past this lush garden on one of my walks with the stroller. So beautiful! I want to live here!

Forza Italia

Well I know it was yesterday, but it's not too late to celebrate Italian's win over England in the Euro Cup and Andrea Pirlo's amazing penalty goal, giving the Azurri a place in the semi finals. I'm doing it with mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, prosciutto...some of all the goodies Italy has to offer. I will never grow tired of soccer or Italian food.

Summer yumminess

Walking around the corner to the frozen yoghurt place is a nice thing when June's heat gets to me. What's your favorite summer pick me up?

Happy "Everything Day"!

A get together with family members to celebrate a bunch of recent events - two birthdays, Father's Day and a wedding anniversary resulted in this cake. I love the idea of an "Everything Day"! We should celebrate one more often! There is always something to celebrate, right? One could probably find at least some reasons to, if thinking about it.

I love this cute fox pillow a friend gave at one of the baby showers. It's from the Danish design Ferm living and made in organic cotton. You'll find it at "Huset" in Venice, this stylish and fun store with all Scandinavian things. Iittala candelholders, coffe mugs from Gustavsberg and Marimekko, fashion from Marlene Birger, Moomin books, blankets from Klippan etc. A great way for us Swedes, and everyone else too of course, to be able to get nice things from back home, here in LA.

Dinner for busy moms

This is a favorite of mine always but even more so now - oven baked salmon on a bed of mixed organic greens. And then I add whatever vegetables I mind have at home. Quickest dinner ever and healthy too!

Baby joy

For grown-ups and one for little ones too. Baby received his own bottle! It will probably be very "vintage" before he gets to have a taste :)

I can't believe it's already gone weeks since I welcomed my precious baby into the world. Time really has gone by fast. I want to stop it and treasure every moment. But I'm also looking forward to seeing him grow and develop and getting to know him even more of course. It's truly a blessing being able to experience this new little person take on every new day with me by his side. And it's wonderful to get to share. My parents just returned home after having been here for a couple of weeks, meeting their new grandchild. Last weekend some friends stopped by to pamper mom and dad with cooking and company. And today my great photographer friend came by with his camera and spent the day with us, capturing me and the little guy<3

New life

Dear friends, I haven't forgotten about you. But my prioritizes are elsewhere at the moment. I've become a mom! <3 So right now this new little treasure in my life takes up all my time. I'll be back soon though. Until then...xoxo.
